Companies including General Time (Westclox & Seth Thomas), Hostess Brands (Hostess & Wonder Bread), and House of Cheatham (Africa’s Best & Aunt Jackie’s Curls and Coils) have benefitted from Dwan’s expertise in bringing new product concepts to life, creating stand out messaging, engineering marketing and brand strategies, and introducing products to retailer buyers worldwide. In 2008, Dwan joined House of Cheatham as Director of Marketing, and by 2012, she conceptualized and strategized the launch of Aunt Jackie’s Curls & Coils, a new multi-cultural brand created to solve the pain points of women with curly-textured hair. In 2017, House of Cheatham named Dwan Vice-President of Global Marketing & Product Development. Aunt Jackie’s continues to be the fastest growing brand in its category, with distribution in 30 countries and in U.S. mass/drug/grocery stores.
